The Common Facility Centre is for development and promotion of Bihar handicraft products will generate self- employment opportunities for men & women and also benefit the Self Help Groups (WSHGs) in rural areas formed. It will also help artisans to provide forward linkage with the market for value added products.
1. Engaging established manufacturers, exporters, institutions & agencies for making interventions for product identification, skill development programmes, imparting training to member artisans of SHGs, supply of raw materials and finally marketing of finished products.
2.Providing modern machinery to the SHGs required for bulk production
3. Arranging space for undertaking bulk /reguIar production.
4. Arranging space for proper stocking of finished products.
5.Priority in participation in the fairs organized by state or central government.
6.Participation in the Design Development workshops.
7.Diverting bulk enquiries, if any, to SHGs for executions.
